Source of Hope

Where do you go when all Hope is gone?

During these difficult times it is extremely important that we understand where our Hope comes from and who is the source of Hope. God gives Hope and He is the source of Hope.

May God, the source of hope, fill you with all joy and peace by means of your faith in him, so that your hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 GNB

So, in order to trust that God will restore our current health epidemic, our communities, our finances and relationships; we must not let go of the Hope we have in God but have faith that His promises will come to pass in our lives. Because only by His power can these things be done.

I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for. Jeremiah 29:11 GNB

Hope sees the finish line. Hope is the vision.

Collection of Bad Moments

We can spend minutes, hours, days, and even months over- analyzing a situation, trying to put together the pieces. Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is relax. Often times we allow one bad moment to consume our minds. We begin to feed it more and more until it starts to consume who we are. But, I must warn you that if you continue to feed the negative thoughts, then you find yourself trapped within the walls of your mind.

You’ll have good moments, bad moments, beautiful moments, ugly moments, overwhelming moments, moments where everything seems like it’s coming together, and moments when everything seems like it’s falling apart.

I’ve learned that it’s okay to have a bad moment. But not to dwell on that bad moment for an extended period of time. I’ve learn to take some time to clear my mind then quickly shift my focus more on positive energy. I’ve learned to release those negative thoughts back into the universe.

You have to train your mind to be stronger than your emotions or else you’ll lose yourself every time. The truth is that the moments of our lives are only temporary. The sun will rise and you will try again. Your troubles will leave and you will smile again.

Don’t allow one bad moment to ruin your day.

Don’t allow one bad moment to ruin your life.

Don’t allow one bad moment to ruin who you are.

Never forget that…

A collection of bad moments start with just one bad moment.

Finding peace in the storm

The biggest enemy to peace is worrying.

We worry about things that we can’t control. We worry about the things that haven’t happen yet. We worry about tomorrow when in fact tomorrow isn’t promise to us. Honestly, the things that haven’t happen yet may never happen.

Worrying is stupid. It’s like walking around with an umbrella waiting for it to rain.

Worrying doesn’t take away tomorrow troubles, it takes away today’s peace. I think we can all agree that tomorrow has its own problems. Start living life one day at a time while taking it one step at a time. You owe yourself that much.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27 NKJV
